2020 has been a year of disconnection like no other. We’ve not been able to hug loved ones, to share much time with neighbours face-to-face, or to nurture the relationships that sustain us in times of challenge and change.
Now, as we enter into a new phase of this pandemic, we’re determined to help this community stay together – even from afar.
To do that, we need you. If you’ve not been involved in South London Cares during this pandemic, now is the time to step up.

In this extraordinary year, this community has already done so much to help neighbours to stay connected:
📞 Shared over 700 calls with older people, helping to share solace and solidarity in difficult times
💻 Supported 140 social clubs, which have been attended by 239 older and younger people
☎️ Helped us to make another 1,600 phone calls, to find out what our neighbours need
💡 Delivered food and medicine to older neighbours isolating from the storm
💌 Created eight Alone Together packs with over 150 activities for neighbours to stay distracted and connected
As we go into another national lockdown today, we’d love you to be involved, and help our neighbours find connection in a deeply disconnecting time.
