A new member of The Cares Family: Octopus

South London Cares and North London Cares are delighted to begin work on an exciting new partnership with Octopus Foundation, which will provide support for our core work in myriad exciting and involving new ways.

Through the partnership, Octopus Foundation, the new charity arm of Octopus Investments, is kindly supporting SLC and NLC with:

• A major financial investment to aid the development and delivery of our core work;
• Staff volunteers to hang out with their older neighbours in Southwark, Lambeth, Camden and Islington;
• Operational support from Octopus' brilliant and growing team - including help to improve our internal systems and processes;
• Space for our older neighbours from across our 4 target boroughs to interact with young professionals.

We're so grateful for the belief and support that Octopus have invested in South London Cares and North London Cares. As a young charity still learning about the best ways to operate, we know their expertise and experience in various areas will help us go from start up to grown up, and ensure our work mobilising young professionals to hang out with and help their older neighbours can continue long into the future.
