Pilates or bricklaying? August social clubs

August is around the corner and whether you’re hoping to live it up at Carnival or craving a chance to unwind, we have 19 social clubs for you to enjoy with your older neighbours.

You could reset and rebalance yourself at our first ever Pilates session in Brixton, or, put your feet up and discuss the silver screen at one of our three film clubs next month. On the flip side, why not get ready for the bank holiday celebrations by sticking, cutting and gluing at our Carnival Mask Making in Stockwell, or try something new at our Bricklaying club in Clapham.

We’re also always in need of extra volunteers at our Tech Workshops in Blackfriars and Herne Hill. You don’t need to be a tech expert – and something as simple as chatting through emojis and emails with Stella or Fred will go such a long way in keeping them connected. 

Whatever you decide to get up to in August, your older neighbours will be so happy to chat and laugh with you at one of our social clubs.
