Feel like kicking off the new year in style? On Sunday 29th January from 11am – 2pm, South London Cares, along with our sister charity North London Cares, is hosting our first Cares’ Clothes Swap.
It's a hassle-free, fashionable, and sustainable way to raise funds for our spring activities north and south of the river. Just bring along your pre-loved (but well looked after) clothes, a bit of cash and maybe a friend or two!
We'll be auctioning clothes, jewellery, and accessories throughout the morning. There’ll also be lots of beautiful cakes to sample for a small donation, endless tea and coffee (maybe even a swift buck’s fizz if you’re lucky) and a small raffle.
Items will be auctioned from as a little as £1, with some fab vintage items from the likes of Russell and Bromley already in the mix. The event is being held in Euston, and all money raised will help make our spring 2017 social clubs and our ever-growing Love Your Neighbour programme possible.
And when just £20 could help fund a social club and a memorable afternoon for Gloria and Pat, your wardrobe has never done so good!
