With only two months of summer left, it's time to get outside, take out the BBQ and cook up a storm! So this July, why not join your older neighbours at one of our sizzling Social Clubs?
With Jamaican baking in Brixton and a Tea Party in Herne Hill – as well as our outdoor BBQs – there's lots to be part of. Or if it's gardening in Streatham or taking a trip to the Southbank Centre that takes your fancy, we'd love you to join us.
Last month our volunteers formed new friendships with 120 older neighbours in Southwark and Lambeth, swapping skills and stories about your neighbourhoods.
So don't stop now!
Alternatively, if you're up for fundraising for SLC, why not help us pack bags at Asda on Old Kent Road on Saturday 18th July? We're hoping to raise a few hundred pounds – enough for 20 social clubs this summer!
