In the summer, we will be marking six years of friendship shared between younger and older neighbours at South London Cares and our sister charity, North London Cares. And to celebrate, we're having our biggest party yet.
Over those six years, our community networks of 7,000 older and younger Londoners have enjoyed some 1,800 social clubs and shared 5,000 hours of one-to-one friendship to reduce loneliness, improve connections in our rapidly changing city, and to bridge social, generational and attitudinal divides.
To help ensure such relationships can flourish and thrive into the future, The Cares Family are holding a special joint fundraising gala on neutral ground at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 10th June.
The evening will include:
- Unlimited cocktails for an hour
- A three course meal with wine
- A ceilidh
- A DJ
- Special guests
There will also be an auction, with prizes including:
The evening will be hosted by comedian and South London Cares volunteer Holly Walsh.
We want to see as many of our wonderful supporters – and their friends, family and colleagues – as possible. It's our biggest party to date, and promises to be a whole lot of fun. Tickets are £69.
We hope you can join us for this special occasion, be a part of the celebrations, and play a part in our future.
This evening is proudly supported by MUFG and Leigh Day.
