In 2015, 40 volunteers took on the Thames Path Challenge. In 2016, we made it to Cambridge. And in 2017, we’ll be marching an epic 50km or 100km from London to Brighton

Over the May Bank Holiday, a total of 3,000 adventurers will take the 6th annual London to Brighton Challenge. As with our previous walks, it's tough but achievable - a test of stamina and determination, and an unforgettable journey of self discovery - with full support from Action Challenge and your fellow SLC walkers all the way.

Starting in Richmond, the walk begins along the Thames and up the North Downs before approaching some wonderful Sussex countryside. It then continues to the South Downs, with the coast and the finish line of Brighton Racecourse coming into view - and with it, a fantastic sense of achievement.

Whether you're new to endurance events, or a seasoned long distance walker - the journey will be amazing. Our walks are the highlight of our challenge calendar. Anyone who has participated in the past will attest to the fact that they are tough, but the camaraderie, pride and elation at the finish line are well worth it – so much so that several team members from last year have already decided to take up the challenge again!

Still interested? The date to put in your diary is Saturday 27th May - and 28th May for those challengers taking on the big 100k.
