It’s time to test your general knowledge skills in the annual South London Cares pub quiz!
We love seeing you every week at social clubs across south London, bringing laughter and companionship into the lives of your older neighbours. By coming along to our pub quiz you'll help us to raise the money we need to support South London Cares activities and make sure that you and your older neighbours have lots of opportunities to hang out this year.
So please join us on Wednesday 20 July with sharpened minds and pencils at the ready, for a mind-teasing, entertaining bingo-style quiz-tacular with lots of chances to win prizes!
All are welcome - volunteers, friends and family. Tickets are £6 and every penny will go towards supporting South London Cares activities.
The fun takes place at The Rose pub on the river near Vauxhall. To oil your brain cogs, the bar will be open and you’ll be able to order food from their delicious menu.
There’ll be a round of free drinks for the winning team and if that wasn’t enough to tempt you, there’ll also be a raffle with a host of brilliant prizes to be won from the likes of BB Bakery, The Clink Restaurant, Eat About, Locale and many more!
We’ll be playing in teams of 5, so either come along as a fully-formed team or you can just pitch up and make friends on the night to make a brand-new team.
Either way, make sure you buy your tickets in advance - last year the pub quiz was a sell-out event, so get in there quick to avoid disappointment.
