October’s not just about Halloween and the return of Stranger Things. If fake blood and 80s nostalgia aren’t your thing we have 21 brilliant events to make the 10th(!) month of the year your best yet.

We’ll be celebrating the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival in Brixton: join your older neighbours and learn about the history, customs, legends and food behind the festival. We also have a very special Choir Performance in West Norwood by the brilliant Florence Lawrence Chorus (audience participation is encouraged!). Thanks to your feedback we’ve changed the start time for our evening West Norwood event. It now begins at 6:30pm, which will hopefully give you enough time to get there from work – more fun for all!

Be it Boxing in Peckham, Pilates in Stockwell or our Tech Workshop in Herne Hill, you’ll be making a difference to someone’s day. Last month at Men’s Beer and Board Games Albert told us: "It's just so nice to get out of the house and chat with people who are sincerely interested in what you say."
