October social clubs: dinner and a movie?

Week in, week out, we hear how much it means to our older neighbours to spend part of their day with their younger neighbours. To have fun, meet new people and simply get out of the house can make someone's day. For some of our older neighbours, the days can feel long and uneventful. Pat told us this week that "the weekends are one long struggle – it's the most isolating time."

So, this October, why not help your neighbours get out and about and bring the party to them? You can bring your singing voice to a musical afternoon in Bermondsey, eat popcorn and relax at a film night in Walworth, or get competitive at one of our games nights in Elephant and Castle.

Each social club is a chance to learn about and laugh with your older neighbours. Whether you’re a regular volunteer or a newbie who's just signed up, we’d love you to join in and be part of the community. Our volunteer family has grown to over 200 - but we are always looking to welcome new younger south Londoners into the fold!
