Remember, remember, the social clubs in November

The season’s big debate starts in November: Christmas Carols, when is it ok to start singing them!? Whether you're someone who’s already stuck into a winter routine or someone who, like me, is still grasping onto sunny memories of summer, here at South London Cares we have 22 exciting events which will get you warmed up and cheering for more.

We’re excited for our belated Diwali Celebration in Stockwell, where we’ll be getting crafty and tasting delicious treats all in keeping with the beautiful festival of light. And since autumn is prime time for film-goers, we’d love you to join your older neighbours for a Film Screening at the Ritzy Cinema of a brand new blockbuster. Maybe, like us, you’ll want to get up out of your seat (and move your feet) at our Swing Dance in West Norwood? Don't forget it starts a little later at 6:30pm, so there’s more time to get there from work!

Of course it wouldn’t be the same without our usual favourites; a Technology Workshop in Herne Hill, Choir in Peckham and, not one, but two Quiz Clubs!

One last thing, if you want to help keep your older neighbours warm, active healthy and connected this winter, join us at our Christmas Pub Quiz! With loads of prizes to be won, and a raffle packed full with treats – you won't want to miss out. Proceeds will go toward this year's Winter Wellbeing project.
