The sizzle of summer may be drawing to a close (and what a summer it’s been!) but with September just around the corner, we’ve got a whole new term of fresh, fun events to keep you and your older neighbours in the holiday mood.
You could dance the night away with Daphne at our back to school disco in West Norwood, swap songs and stories with Swinda at our Desert Island Discs evening in Walworth or even drink tea with Tunde on our Buckingham Palace trip!
The hot weather may be on the way out, but by popping along to a social club next month you can continue to bring sunshine and warmth to the lives of your older neighbours. Peter told us recently: "social clubs have made me feel so in touch with young people and the modern world, I leave feeling incredibly invigorated!"
Below are all the events for September so please take a look and let us know which clubs you’d like to attend. Charlie is on holiday next week, so this month please book your place with me by emailing [email protected] to volunteer.
See you soon!
