Baby, it’s cold outside! So save the date for the ultimate feel good winter warmer – the ever-popular South London Cares' pub quiz is back on Tuesday 29th November at the The Draft House, London Bridge.
As you know, incredible things can happen with your older neighbours over a cup of tea at Cafe Barcelona, or between the steps of a salsa session, or during an educating hour at tech club. You – our amazing volunteers and supporters – bring laughter, company, and companionship to the lives of your older neighbours, and make our social clubs and Love Your Neighbour programme a testament to the infinite possibilities of what happens when you spend time with your community.
And by joining us at our pub quiz this winter, you will help us to make another incredible year possible.
Tickets are £6 and every penny will go towards supporting South London Cares activities throughout winter and into 2017.
We’ll be playing in teams of 6, and you can come 'team ready' or we help you join a team on the night. So whether you bring along that clever colleague who knows all the world’s capital cities by heart, or your flatmate who remembers the lyrics to every chart-topper, everyone is welcome – volunteers, friends and family!
The fun takes place at The Draft House, just off Tower Bridge. The bar will be open and you’ll be able to order food from their delicious menu. There’ll be a free round of drinks for the winning team and a raffle with a host of brilliant prizes.
There are one thousand good reasons to come along; you see them every time you meet the likes of Frances, Rene and Tony. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance - the past two pub quizzes have sold out, so get in there quick to avoid disappointment.
