Join one of our biggest team challenge events this year! Take on the Thames Path Challenge and walk 50km or 100km with us in aid of South London Cares.
Here are three reasons to walk with us:
1️⃣ By raising £275 you could fund six South London Cares social clubs, keeping neighbours like Frances, Albert and Gloria feeling vibrant, visible and valued.
2️⃣ Our team walks in the lead-up will help with that training, and walking as a team for 50km or 100km on the day means you'll make friends for life.
3️⃣The route is well-supported, with plenty of grub along the way to keep you going, and a glass of fizz waiting for you at the finish line!
But don't just take our word for it: Rob, who walked 100km for South London Cares last year, said of his experience:
"There’s no denying that walking 100km for over 24-hours with no sleep is tough... But that feeling you get when you cross that finish line... when you’re handed a glass of champagne and a medal is draped around your neck – cannot be beaten."
The date to put in your diary is Saturday 8th September - and 9th September for those challengers taking on the big 100km.
The minimum fundraising targets are:
· Full Challenge – 100km: £80 Registration Fee / £425 Minimum Sponsorship Target
· Half Challenge - 50km: £60 Registration Fee / £275 Minimum Sponsorship Target
