Summer is finally here and it's just about warm enough to crack out the suncream, pop on your shades and have some fun in the sun with Helmut, Vera and the gang! And this June we've got 19 amazing occasions for you to help your older neighbours to feel over the moon.
As well as all of the old favourites to get involved with (quizzes, script reading and brunch to name a few), we're also very excited to be starting a brand new Saturday Quiz Club at a new Brixton location, as well as moving our fabulous choir to a shiny new Peckham venue.
So, whether you fancy frolicking on a farm in Rotherhithe with Rene or bonding over a bevvy in Gipsy Hill with Gwen, SLC has got your summer social life sorted!
Your older neighbours have told us that the main reason they come along to social clubs is to meet lovely young people like you - to share stories and to have a laugh together! Last week, Bill said: "today's been one of the best afternoons I've had in a long, long time."
Our social clubs really couldn't exist without you and your passion, energy and commitment! So thank you for everything that you're already doing to make your community more connected.
