Here at South London Cares, we put community at the heart of our activity. All of our projects directly benefit those living and working within Southwark and Lambeth. We love the diversity in our boroughs and enjoy creating connections between people and businesses who make London the magic city it is.
A partnership with South London Cares would provide a wealth of volunteering opportunities for your employees. As well as hanging out with your older neighbours, we also hold numerous fundraising and bespoke events and offer profile through our active online presence.
We also have our interactive Treasure Hunt, in which teams can uncover Elephant and Castle's history and heritage through the stories of the people who have lived there all their life.
If you're interested in engaging with South London Cares, please contact Emily (Head of Development) on [email protected].
We're delighted to be supported by the following corporations who make our work possible:
We're really proud of our partnership with Octopus Giving, the charitable offshoot of Octopus Investments. As well as a generous donation to help fund our core work, Octopus Giving is supporting South London Cares with operations and HR development work and mobilisng their wonderful team to volunteer in Southwark and Lambeth. The Terra Firma Charitable Trust is supporting our Social Clubs across Peckham. Their funding helps make our fortnightly choir and brunch club possible, as well as funds ad hoc trips for our older neighbours in the area.
At the beginning of 2017, we formed a new partnership with consultancy firm AlixPartners. Not only has AlixPartners committed long-term funding to help us reach out to even more older neighbours, but their team also volunteer and support us through various fundraising initiatives, including half marathons and individual donations.
