We're really proud to present South London Cares' very first Annual Report. The 28-page report covers the period from our opening in August 2014 to the end of December 2015, and the two financial periods within those 16 months.
It's full to the brim of pictures, stories, quotes and stats about our three core projects, details about our fundraising and income, the staff team and plans for the future. It also contains messages from our Chair and Chief Executive on the South London Cares journey so far.
Most inspiringly, it's full of the love and smiling faces of older and younger neighbours sharing time, laughter and new experiences together. It's amazing that in just 16 short months, so many people have shared so many good times, through 244 social clubs, 50 Love Your Neighbour matches, an expanding Winter Wellbeing project and 13,000 interactions - and already plenty more this year.
We're so grateful to everyone who makes this community network a reality - our funders and partners, our staff team, and most importantly the volunteers and older neighbours who make up the magic of South London Cares.
Please do read and share the report (it's readable, we promise!). And thank you to everyone - we can't wait to do even more in 2016.
