It’s been exactly three years since South London Cares started out to build a community network connecting younger and older neighbours across Southwark and Lambeth. We have a lot to celebrate thanks to countless acts of kindness, friendship and joy!

The summer is here and for many that means BBQs, picnics in the park and sport on the big screen. But imagine if you couldn't get out, or didn't know many people – London could feel doubly isolating. This summer, we're raising money to run dozens of social clubs to help older and younger neighbours share a season in the sun.

The summer is finally here! And with the sun shining, our neighbours have been enjoying a whole host of clubs, trips, and adventures across Southwark and Lambeth.
Each month, as part of our social clubs programme, we organise activities like script reading, reggae nights and technology workshops across Southwark and Lambeth. We also arrange ‘back to work’ visits. Team London Bridge has been instrumental in helping South London Cares to forge partnerships with local businesses to make these types of events possible.
