Over the year, younger and older neighbours, aged from 21 to 95, have been hanging out, getting to grips with new skills, and finding out that it’s never too late to try something new.

Emily's been volunteering with South London Cares since April 2015, and has been part of 44 social clubs. She shares what keeps her coming back, and how community and friendship help with perspective: "You can’t hear about how a neighbour met the love of their life age 64 at ballroom dancing and still be worried that you might have accidentally ‘replied all’ on your last email of the day."
