Doris has lived in the pocket of Walworth between the Old Kent Road and the Walworth Road for all of her 83 years. She’s been within a few minutes of East Street all her life and has seen so much change right on her doorstep.

Liza is 70, and a full time carer for her wonderful husband Tony. They started coming to South London Cares' social clubs three months ago, when the couple realised they needed some new activities and company. A few short months later, Liza now comes to several clubs a month – and brings Tony along to the ones he feels up to.
South London Cares will be turning one in August – so we have a fun-filled month of birthday celebrations and exciting clubs for you to be part of and ways to share laughs with your older neighbours.
